GDS Site Engineer (m/w/d)

Location: Dresden, Germany (Full Time)

About the Role

TPC Germany GmbH is seeking two qualified GDS Site Supervisors (m/w/d).
This position is responsible for supervising and managing the on-site installation, stainless steel piping, and testing activities of the Gas Distribution System (GDS) in semiconductor facility projects, ensuring that all works comply with German safety regulations (DGUV, DIN/VDE) and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site equipment installation, stainless steel piping, and testing works of GDS systems in semiconductor facilities.
• Ensure all works comply with DGUV, DIN/VDE, and company safety standards.
• Supervise construction quality, schedule progress, and manpower allocation to meet project requirements.
• Review construction drawings and on-site execution to ensure work is performed in accordance with approved drawings.
• Track and control gas equipment and materials, ensuring quantities and delivery schedules meet project requirements.
• Coordinate daily on-site activities among contractors, design engineers, and the client.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits, and prepare daily construction reports.
• Participate in construction meetings (e.g., kick-off meetings, toolbox meetings, end-of-day meetings), resolve technical and scheduling issues, and report progress and issues.
• Manage construction documentation, including checklists, construction control forms, and issue tracking logs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the project.

Required Qualifications

• Familiar with DGUV and DIN/VDE safety standards.
• Ability to independently review technical drawings, specifications, and as-built documentation.
• Familiar with EHS requirements and on-site safety management practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong coordination ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to read BIM 360 3D models is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction works in semiconductor facilities, cleanrooms, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Familiar with CE, ISO, VOB/B, DGUV, EN 60204-1, DIN EN ISO 9606-1, and ISO 3834 regulations and engineering standards.
• Understanding of German construction documentation and acceptance procedures (e.g., Prüfprotokoll, Abnahme, Übergabe).
• Experience in multinational project coordination and effective communication with German clients, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Strong multi-tasking ability to manage schedule, quality, and safety simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement of on-site construction processes.
• Basic German communication skills.
