About the Role
To support our continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and service-oriented IT / ERP Support Engineer (m/w/d). This role is essential to maintaining stable internal systems and supporting the daily operations of our engineering and project teams. While not directly involved in construction site activities, the position plays a key role in ensuring secure, efficient, and uninterrupted business operations.
Position Overview The IT / ERP Support Engineer (m/w/d) will take ownership of our in-house legacy ERP system, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) administration, and core IT infrastructure. This hands-on role requires a proactive, solution-oriented professional who combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. Daily office-based presence in Dresden is required to ensure system stability, cybersecurity, and responsive end-user support.
Key Responsibilities
ERP & Database Support
• Maintain and troubleshoot the ASP-based ERP frontend and SQL Server backend
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks
• Perform database maintenance, backup, and restoration
• Support ERP upgrades, patches, and continuous system improvements
IT Infrastructure & Microsoft 365 Administration
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, and related services
• Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, user accounts, MFA)
• Maintain secure network file storage and structured access controls
• Configure and oversee VPN, firewall, and endpoint protection solutions
• Maintain structured backup and disaster recovery processes
Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Administration
• Administer and optimize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for construction project management
• Manage user access, permissions, and project configurations
• Support engineers and project teams in utilizing ACC efficiently for document control and collaboration
• Ensure proper workflow configuration, system reliability, and data integrity
Cybersecurity & Device Management
• Implement and continuously improve cybersecurity protection measures
• Deploy and maintain company laptops and desktop systems
• Install and manage operating systems, security software, and VPN configurations
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset documentation
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in IT system support, ERP/application support, or infrastructure management
• Experience in engineering, construction, or industrial environments is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) system administration
• Basic PowerShell scripting skills
• Experience with Linux system administration
• Experience with firewall configuration and network security
• Relevant IT security certifications
